Smoke Testing

    On May 8^th and 9^th 2007, the Moundsville WWTP along with Burgess an Nipple Inc. condicted smoke testing along Jefferson Ave. between 2nd and 5th Streets. On May 8th sanitary line sections were isolated and the smoke testing was performed to determine if any stormwater sources were tapped into the sanitary sewers instead of a stormwater sewer. The pictures directly below are some of the results of the first day of smoke testing.

On May 9th stormwater line sections were isolated and the smoke testing was performed to determine if any wastewater sources were tapped into the stormwater sewers instead of a sanitary sewer. The pictures directly below are some of the results of the second day of smoke testing.
